PAN + 13% VAT — not Indian GSTIN / CGST or Sri Lanka 18%

A payable Nepal PDF lists trading name, address, PAN (plus VAT registration when you have it), unique number, date, client, itemized lines, 13% VAT when charged, and NPR total. Put PAN in the supplier tax field — do not paste GSTIN, CGST/SGST splits, or an INR hub layout (/in).

/np is NPR + IRD VAT — not LKR 18% IRD hubs (/lk) and not Bangladesh NBR layouts (/bd). Unregistered sellers open a no-tax layout instead of a cosmetic 0% line that looks like VAT registration.

eSewa / Khalti / IME Pay for retainers — not UPI/IFSC as the domestic rail

Thamel shops and Lazimpat freelancers often clear on eSewa, Khalti or IME Pay — one wallet ID plus the invoice number as the payment remark. Do not lead with UPI/IFSC or Sri Lankan FriMi as the domestic Nepal rail.

Larger hotel and trek-agency AP still wants NPR bank deposit via Nabil, Global IME, NIC Asia, Himalayan Bank, Kumari Bank, Prabhu Bank, Siddhartha Bank, Mega Bank Nepal, Sanima Bank or peer banks with matching account name. FCMY or USD notes help remote clients; local books still need a clear NPR total. Net 7 or Net 14 in day-month-year style (DD/MM/YYYY).

Guest houses in Thamel, Basantapur, Freak Street, Thapathali, Paknajol, Chhetrapati and Pokhara Lakeside name group or guest, stay dates, and package inclusions on separate lines. IRD portals stay outside the browser
