Draft PDF vs official fapiao
A client-facing commercial PDF and a tax-system fapiao are not the same document. If your buyer needs a formal 发票 for deduction, issue it through the proper channel, then optionally share a matching summary PDF.
General invoicing steps still apply: how to create an invoice and what to include.
Fields that usually appear on a clear draft
Supplier name and USCC/tax ID, unique number, date, buyer details, description of goods or services, VAT when charged, and total due. Official fapiao add tax-system-specific fields beyond this layout.
- Unique document number and date
- USCC / tax ID under From
- Clear description lines
- VAT rate, VAT amount, and total payable when tax applies
Rates
Do not leave a goods default rate on a service that uses another rate. Clear Taxes if you are not charging VAT on the draft.
Regional structure only: Hong Kong, Taiwan VAT / GUI.
Using the China generators
Open China fapiao-style or the /cn hub. Set CNY, enter USCC under From, adjust Taxes to the correct rate, then download PDF.
Overview: VAT on invoices.
- Do not leave a goods default rate on a service that uses another rate
- Estimates and quotes are also available under /cn
- Keep PDF copies with your project records
